2018 Recipients of The Dr. Herbert E. Harper, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Dr. Herbert E. Harper, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by D’Ann Harper and Leesa Harper-Rispoli in 2016 of Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTORS®.

The scholarship honors the late Dr. Herbert E. Harper Jr., and is offered exclusively to agents, employees, children, stepchildren, and grandchildren of Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTORS®. This scholarship underscores the beliefs CBHarper was founded on — a tradition of trust and family. The scholarship is available in various amounts totaling up to $25,000 for students who plan to attend any community college, technical or vocational school, a four-year college, or university in the United States.

The participants submitted their applications along with a compelling reason why they would like to further their education, then a non-biased panel reads all the entries and selects the recipients.

“Dear D’Ann & Lessa,

I am extremely honored to have been given this Dr. Herbert E Harper Jr. Scholarship, and I cannot say enough how much I appreciate you all for it. Unfortunately, I will be out of town on the day of the scholarship awards ceremony. I will actually be at my college orientation at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia! My father, PJ Clarke, has generously agreed to accept the award on my behalf at the awards ceremony. Thank you again for this tremendous opportunity.” – Ivy Clarke
