Bear Hunt 2015 Update
We wanted to bring you a special message from our Bear Hunt coordinator Jené Rand about the 2015 Bear Hunt that wrapped up at the end of December:
We have completed another successful “Bear Hunt”. We were able to make over 4,500 children’s holiday brighter. The Chili Cook Off started us off with a huge advantage. We were able to purchase over 900 new stuffed animals and over 200 were collected that day.
The contributions from San Antonio Offices went to Boysville, Any Baby Can, Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald Houses, Youth Alternatives, Bexar County Child Protective Services, SAMM’s Shelter, Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas, Blue Santa’s, Forgotten Child, Medina Children’s Home, Kingdom Resources, Universal City Fire and Police Departments, several police sub stations, Northern Hills United Methodist Church food pantry and the Humane Society.
North East Office contributed theirs to Boysville.
Kerrville Office was able to help CASA, Hill Country Youth Ranch, K-Star and Hill Country Cares.
New Braunfels Office went to Brown Santa in Hayes County, Be Nice Express, and Angel Ministries.
Fredricksburg’s Office went to Hill Country Community Needs Council.
Boerne Office contributed to The Kendall County Family Services, The Hill Country Daily Bread, Families Especial, Kendall County Sheriff Department and Boerne Police ” Blue Santa’s”.
