Tuesday, August 11 — In on going efforts to seek out new innovations and marketing tools to enhance the business of the Sales Associates at Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTORS®, we host several “Connect” sessions throughout the year. This recent session featured representatives from 3 companies to speak about everything direct mail.
Julie Antuzzi and Chad Rueffert joined us from chilly Colorado on behalf of From Your Friends. Julie Antuzzi is the co-founder of From Your Friends, the country’s fastest-growing relationship marketing program for real estate professionals. She is a regular speaker at some of the country’s largest real estate events, sharing tools and techniques for long terms success by building a referral-based business.
Over the last decade, Julie has been names to the board of directors for the American Women in Radio and Television and has served as President of Pikes Peak Advertising Federation. She was awarded the Business Journal Achievers Under 40 award, has been named one of Colorado Springs’ Most Dynamic Women by the University of Phoenix, and was a finalist for the Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the Year.
The presentation included exclusive offers for the Sales Associates at Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTORS® and a completely unique program not currently used anywhere in the San Antonio area.
Love Love and Anthony Gomez represented Quantum Digital, a direct marketing firm in our sister city of Austin, Texas. Anthony currently fills the role of Business Development Director. With over 13 years experience, implementing marketing automation programs in real estate, it’s easy to see why Anthony enjoys working closely with top brokerages to help solve the challenges they face in the every-changing landscape of direct marketing and lead generation.
Prior to joining QuantumDigital, Anthony worked directly in the residential and commercial real estate industry, in both front-end and back-end developments. His expertise has continued to help Quantum Digital shape it service offerings and integration tools for brokers and agents alike.
Representing Reaching Neighbors was Margo Temkin and Brenda Stewart. Brenda Stewart who started Reaching Neighbors out of her house 15 Years ago, began working in the direct mail industry in 1987. Her goal was to make it easy for Real Estate Agents to develop and maintain relationships with their prospects and clients. To date, Reaching Neighbors helped over 2,000 agents nationwide development costs effective direct mail campaigns that deliver results! She shared some wonderful insights and formulas for getting the best ROI from direct mail.
Brenda also provided some wonderful information referencing an article from Target Marketing which discusses the fact that even digital natives prefer to read in print rather than digital. (Thinking of how many emails we delete each day). This is one of several reasons why direct mail out performs social media in most tests. For brands and retailers targeting affluent and luxury consumers, print media is an essential element of effective marketing programs. Additionally direct mail is perhaps the most cost effective and efficient form of print media for targeting affluent and luxury consumers.
The days’ agenda was split into 2 sessions, complete with breakfast provide by the wonderful folks for From Your Friends who spelled out “Hello” in breakfast tacos. Let’s be honest, the day is best when it starts with breakfast tacos!
The afternoon snack and refreshments helped everyone power through the enlightening marketing ideas presented to those who signed up for the 2nd session.
