Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper joins the Seguin Chamber of Commerce

The Seguin Chamber of Commerce believes that a strong, vital community goes hand-in-hand with a strong, vital business environment. The sector between San Antonio and Austin is one of the fastest growing in the nation, and Seguin is right in the middle of this growth. Established in 1838, Seguin was originally named Walnut Springs until residents decided to change it just 6 months later. Juan Seguin was a military leader in the Texas Revolution and a politician in the Republic of Texas, thus the city was named in his honor. There are a number of interesting facts about Seguin, including that they have hosted the Texas State High School Rodeo since 1984.
