Coldwell Banker Stagecoach Realty, Easter in Bandera

On Friday April 12th the folks at Coldwell Banker Stagecoach Realty spent some time with the children and teens at the Boys and Girls Club putting together Easter baskets. As a grass roots organization, the Boys and Girls Club maintains an average daily attendance of 185 Bandera County Youth. Their total membership base is over 700.

Their primary source of funding is through private donations and grants, which allows us to keep the membership dues low at only 10$ annually. The Boys and Girls Club provides a fund and engaging, safe environment for any youth whenever their doors are open. Club members have the opportunity to learn, grow, give back to the community, discover their needs, set goals, and meet new friends. They are open Monday – Friday after school from 3:15pm until 7:00pm and any youth aged 6-18 is welcome and encouraged to join them during these hours. Also during the summer they are open Monday – Friday from 7am – 6pm.

Amy Thibodeaux, VP of Residential Sales for the Bandera Office sent photos of the young adults at the Teen Center Club making Easter baskets for the younger children. Together over 250 Easter baskets were stuffed with, and for, the Boys and Girls Club of Bandera. Cheers to all the hard work that went into putting these lovely baskets together. How heart warming to see the results!

2nd Annual Easter Bunny Basket Brigade

March 2017 — Debbie McNeal, our award winning REALTOR® from the Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTORS® Boerne Office organized the 2nd Annual Easter Bunny Basket Brigade. The Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries needed 450 baskets to be distributed to local children.

Starting early this year, during late February, Debbie McNeal and Jennifer Nichols planned to culminate their donation efforts on March 9th by assembling baskets.  They reached out to friends, family and CBHarper Family to collect monetary and tangible contributions. The Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries needed 450 baskets, 150 wooden cross necklaces, 350 bibles plus assembling efforts.  With donations collected they were able to purchase all of the items needed by HCDBM & had many volunteers to assemble baskets.

In just 4 short days their goal was not only met, but exceeded. Debbie reported,

I am very happy to say that with the help of donations made & volunteers to help with Basket Assembly, our 2nd Annual Easter Bunny Basket Brigade to benefit Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries was a HUGE success. We were able to donate 450 baskets, 150 Wooden Cross Necklaces & 350 Bibles. We also had a great time assembling 146 Completed Baskets to be delivered to Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries. I am grateful to all who contributed! Many children will be blessed at Easter thanks to all who contributed!

Well Debbie, you are very welcome!

Thank you to everyone who helped assemble baskets and made contributions. Shout out to the entire Boerne office for their continued efforts to give back to the community!

REALTOR® Rally 2016 – It’s A Wrap!

November 11th — Wow. Awesomeness. We have a true love of what we do here at Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTORS® and the passion to share it with one another; but more importantly with everyone who has a place to call home.

REALTOR® Rally is a culmination of strategic planning and the desire to create an immersive learning experience. Classes taught by our valued partners, Sales Agents and Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC., guests were the hub of what made this event such a success. A framework of vendors brought their “A” game to share services, tools and ideas to equip attendees with a kickstart of business for 2017.

It is really tough to formulate into words what an experience this was for all of us. Rather than describe each class, amount of attendees and the usual stats, we wanted to share the photos. Our team of photographers were on hand to capture as many moments as we could. BUT, some of these photos were taken by our agents, employees and guests who shared their experiences on social media.

Thank you to everyone who attended. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and we’re already planning for next level awesomeness experience.

Enjoy these inside the event glimpses:

A very special announcement was made, one that immortalizes Herbert Harper, D’Ann’s late husband of almost 45 years. There is nothing more important in the CBHarper culture, than family. So to both honor and celebrate that family D’Ann and Leesa have put together a scholarship fund in Herbert Harper’s name available only to the employees, agents and their children. More on this to come…

Thank you to Chris Harris (pictured above) and the entire team over at Sunbelt Lending (formerly CB Mortgage) who have gone above and beyond to continue to serve to needs of our clients and sales agents.

CWJC Provides to Women in Kendall County

12670488_10154180300206614_4102375344100948896_nTuesday, September 27th — Led by Christian Woman Job Corps Program Director, Debbie McCormick, her beginnings at this wonderful organization changed her life. First as a participant and then as an office administrator for both the men’s and women’s programs. CWJC was a life altering experience for and her desire to give back so that other women may benefit.

Open to woman 18 and over this free program provides job and life skills training. It prepares applicants for the workforce, life’s challenges and builds character that employers are looking for. Funding for this program, that improves the lives of so many, is raised in part through the Annual Christian Women’s Job Corps of Kendall County 2016 Style Show. Located at the beautiful Resort at Tapatio Springs, this year’s style show aimed to encourage women on the road to success. Attendees, including D’Ann Harper, Amy Thibodeaux, Lisa Stanley, Debbie McNeal, Christy Green, Bizzy Darling, Janetter Springer, Valerie Noia and Anna Rukavina, listened to graduates stories as they walked the runway.

Cheers to all the graduates, sponsors, hosts and those that support or are benefited by this noble cause. If you know someone in the Kendall County area that needs help getting back into the workforce, call (830) 331-9916 or visit www.cjcboerne.org.

Zap Success: Janette Springer

There is a vast amount of technology platforms available to real estate agents. None of them however, operate like Zap. A system that was 15 years in the making, it offers a superb technological advantage designed specifically for real estate agents. This completely integrated system gives our agents the ability to understand, anticipate and serve their clients’ needs.

Here is a recent story highlighting how Zap allowed Janette Springer to achieve a level of success she never thought possible.

“I wanted to share my story about a Zap Lead. I was blessed with a very challenging opportunity, as well as a great learning experience that I could have never had otherwise. After receiving a lead for one of my listings (or so I thought) a caller turned out to have mistakenly found me on the other end of the line. As I interviewed the caller, I learned he was not interested in my listing, but proceeded to offer him other search options.

As time went on he told me about this particular listing he found and wanted to view. It had a three story viewing tower that offered a view seemingly from Helotes to La Cantera. He decided to submit an offer and ended up under contract. Then the work began with the roof replacement, issues everyone was experiencing at that time with the storms. An insurance company that was not able to work with the buyer was another hurdle along with a seller leaving the country. In addition, the roofer could not get that work done before close and the seller’s agent was in the middle. Despite all of this, we did get it all done. I am happy to report my client loves his new home and is currently installing a pool.

I was blessed with my first Luxury Series property for my designation that I am working towards. It took a team of players to get me through this – Amy Thibodeaux, Debbie McNeal and Judith Sinklier at First American Title, I could have never done it without them. I am very grateful that we have this lead source, as well as wonderful support in-house to ask for guidance. I can’t wait to get my second Luxury Series client for my designation!”

Thank you so much Janette Springer for sharing this story of success and home. Cheers to your continued success!

Tushes & Toes 2016 – Mission Accomplished

July 2016 — This year marked the 2nd Annual Cover Their Tushes and Toes Challenge for Debbie McNeal and Amy Thibodeaux in Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTORS® Boerne Office. This year was a great success and we delivered almost twice as much as last year! Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries was very thankful for everything. In addition to monetary donations, socks and undergarments were collected. Amanda Asher with HCBD said they get excited when we tell them we’re working on a project for them because they know how much we do and our success in our efforts to help.

13619957_10205749817018892_718789910501441329_nAndy Smith of Integrity 1st Group held a client appreciation party and had attendees bring donations. Thanks to everyone, alot of children will be starting school with NEW socks and underwear. On behalf of Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTORS®, Debbie McNeal and Amy Thibodeaux we would like to thank just a few of the following supporters (among many):

Debbie shared a wonderful story about an experience she had during this years event. “…thanks to some monetary donations my mom and I were able to do some shopping… and we made a pretty good haul. Something pretty special happened while we were checking out at the register,” says Debbie, “A complete stranger standing behind us in line saw us with 2 carts overflowing with socks and underwear. She overheard the cashier was asking us about what we were doing with all the items. As we were leaving the store, I was loading the car and the woman approached my mom. She told her how great she thought this was and how important it was for the children to have these essential items. She thanked us for what we were doing and handed us $20 to help purchase more items. Thank you for the kindness of strangers!”

Tushes and Toes was wrapped up on July 10th and they were even featured in The Boerne Star!
