REALTOR® Rally 2016 – It’s A Wrap!

November 11th — Wow. Awesomeness. We have a true love of what we do here at Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTORS® and the passion to share it with one another; but more importantly with everyone who has a place to call home.

REALTOR® Rally is a culmination of strategic planning and the desire to create an immersive learning experience. Classes taught by our valued partners, Sales Agents and Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC., guests were the hub of what made this event such a success. A framework of vendors brought their “A” game to share services, tools and ideas to equip attendees with a kickstart of business for 2017.

It is really tough to formulate into words what an experience this was for all of us. Rather than describe each class, amount of attendees and the usual stats, we wanted to share the photos. Our team of photographers were on hand to capture as many moments as we could. BUT, some of these photos were taken by our agents, employees and guests who shared their experiences on social media.

Thank you to everyone who attended. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and we’re already planning for next level awesomeness experience.

Enjoy these inside the event glimpses:

A very special announcement was made, one that immortalizes Herbert Harper, D’Ann’s late husband of almost 45 years. There is nothing more important in the CBHarper culture, than family. So to both honor and celebrate that family D’Ann and Leesa have put together a scholarship fund in Herbert Harper’s name available only to the employees, agents and their children. More on this to come…

Thank you to Chris Harris (pictured above) and the entire team over at Sunbelt Lending (formerly CB Mortgage) who have gone above and beyond to continue to serve to needs of our clients and sales agents.

City Year Gala with Bizzy Darling & Linda Vieweg

13256003_581754361997659_366948558262595474_nEvery year, students in San Antonio drop out of high school. The consequences are real: students who drop out are eight times more likely to become incarcerated and three times more likely to be unemployed. When a student drops out of school it has a lasting effect on our communities. City Year is a San Antonio organization led by a group of dedicated and inspiring professionals who are committed to ensuring that they make a significant impact in helping students who are at risk stay on track to graduate on time.

Linda Vieweg, Bizzy Darling and her husband Steve Darling believe City Year transforms students lives. Not only are public school students receiving benefits through tutoring but also City Year team members work with them and spend a year of their lives making a difference! Steve Darling serves on the Rotary Club of SA Board of Directors along with Linda Vieweg of Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTORS® North Central/Stone Oak Sales Office.

Guests of this year’s luncheon Bizzy Darling and Linda Vieweg are proud to contribute to such a wonderful cause. Next year they plan of becoming sponsors rather than guests but in the meantime they will continue to work in the community giving back. Stay tuned they are hoping to provide updates when attending another luncheon in October 2016!

Thank you to Bizzy and Linda for sharing this story!

Agent Testimonial Spotlight

Lisa Martinez RealtorMay 2016 — This month we wanted to highlight all of our wonderful Sales Agents that work so diligently with clients. We are offering client feedback in their own words to showcase the hard work our Sales Agents put forth everyday. It’s not just 8am-5pm, the commitment they have is reflected in working weekends, juggling family with work, early mornings, late nights and all hours of thinking how to bring folks into a place they can call home. Every week we receive wonderful feedback about just how pleased our clients are with the experience of buying their home. Below are a number of examples in how our agents raise the bar in client service, innovation, trust and partnership. We hope to continue to share these testimonials as a tribute to our Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTOR® family and all the families we’ve served.

Each of the below testimonials also appear on each Sales Agent webpage found here by searching their name, office or language spoken.

Bizzy Darling, Boerne Sales Office — As a native of San Antonio and a Boerne resident for the past 16 years, Bizzy Darling is uniquely familiar with both communities as well as the surrounding areas of Fair Oaks Ranch, The Dominion, and the Hill Country, making her a specialist for your home needs in Boerne, San Antonio and the surrounding communities!

P. Murray – Bizzy is awesome. She helped us so much! We were living in another state trying to find a house in a tight time crunch and she was amazing at keeping us informed about the market and houses, looking at properties for us and making sure we were knowledgeable about the area. I would, will and have recommended her to friends and family.

J. Vara – Bizzy was AMAZING. She walked us through every step in out first home buying experience and was fantastic!! We would recommend her to everyone!

Alli Wilson-Shelton, North West Sales Office :

S. Goodwin – I would recommend Ally to anyone deciding on buying a house or renting. She had a optimistic personality through the whole experience and she helped me find my dream home. I would thank her 1,000 times if I could.

B. Richardson – Allison helped me through the process with patience. It had been more than 20 years since I purchased a home. She made something possible that I had given up on.

Sharon KellySharon Kelly, North West Sales Office — I have over 15 years experience in the hospitality and HR industries. This has allowed me the opportunity to move several times over. Each move helped me gain valuable experience which prompted my career change to real estate. My goal is to make your home buying or selling experience a stress-free and understandable process. I pride myself in providing personal attention, availability, and prompt service.

S. Chavez – Sharon listened to what we were looking for and when we looking at properties, she would ask us why were liked or didn’t like aspects of a property. Would love to work with her again!

Bill Wells, North Central/Stone Oak Office — I moved to San Antonio some years ago on a corporate relocation and had a great Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper Realtor help me find a home. When I retired from that profession, I decided I wanted to join this family and provide the same level of service I received. Its been a great decision and career move.

H. Dickens – Bill Wells is a true professional. He guided my wife and me through the entire purchase of our new home without a hitch. He kept in constant contact and answered our emails and phone calls promptly. Bill’s recommendation for a mortgage company also made the process of purchasing the new home very easy. Even after we closed on the new home, Bill kept in contact to see how thing were going and also gave us a recommendation to help us sell our existing home in New York.

P. Sides – Bill Wells provided informed and accurate access to property that interested us based on our communicated needs and preferences. He listens and cares about his customers.

D. Patrick – Bill was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs in looking for a new home during our relocation. He understood what we were looking for, and was always looking out for our best interest. Even after closing, we had some issues with the builder and he contacted them on our behalf and got the ball rolling towards a resolution.

Kellie Daniels, North West Sales Office — Kellie comes from a military family. Born in Hawaii, she spent her childhood in Europe and the Midwest. Her family settled in San Antonio in 1974 and she has called San Antonio home ever since. In 1980, she married a San Antonio native and they are raising a teenage daughter. She has served the community and volunteered her time as a Girl Scouts Leader, taught children’s church, served on her church’s bereavement committee and school hospitality committee.

Additionally Kellie’s profile features some wonderful reviews on Zillow!

L. Wilkins – Kellie is not only an excellent Realtor, but she is a GREAT person as well. She takes the time to get to know you and her customer service is exceptional. Kellie you were amazing to work with; keep up the GREAT work!

J. Brigance – Kellie was an absolute blessing on this transaction and represents your company amazingly. This was all done from out of state and she never missed a beat from start to finish. A total professional and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend her to anyone. She went above and beyond in helping us find our new home. A+++!

A. Balderrama – Kellie is a fantastic sales associate. She was there with us through every step of the way in selling our home and purchasing our new one. She is thorough, attentive to details and a very knowledgeable real estate professional. I would not hesitate to use Kellie again and I will recommend her to all of my family and friends.

Happy Home Owners
