Jeep Rackley Earns Coldwell Banker Global Luxury Property Specialist Designation

San Antonio, TX, January 2017 — Jeep Rackley, REALTOR®, CLHMS, of Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTORS® has earned the Coldwell Banker Global Luxury™ Property Specialist designation, according to Leesa Harper Rispoli, President of Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTORS®. To date, only ten percent of the more than 88,000 sales associates affiliated with the Coldwell Banker® brand have been awarded this designation. “In addition to performance-based criteria on successfully selling luxury properties, Rackley had to complete a prescribed certification course to earn the Luxury Property Specialist designation,” said Leesa Harper Rispoli.

Launched in early 2017, the Coldwell Banker Global LuxurySM program legacy traces its roots to Coldwell Banker Previews International® and the Previews® program, a leader in luxury real estate since 1933. The Coldwell Banker Global Luxury certification course creates a standardized education model to help the newest generation of luxury agents meet and exceed the expectations of high-net-worth clients. In order to participate in the course, participating agents must meet strict production guidelines — “Some of the most rigorous standards in the industry today.” says Craig Hogan, Vice President of Luxury at Coldwell Banker Real Estate, LLC. Certification renewal is also required every 24 months, to ensure Luxury Property Specialists are up to date on new technologies, programs, and best practices.

Born Gene Rackley, Jeep is a third generation Boerne native. He has been a licensed REALTOR® serving Boerne and the surrounding Hill Country since 1997 with nearly 20 years industry experience. His past real estate experience in locations such as Costa Rica and Belize have cultivated Jeep’s repertoire for luxury clientele. When Jeep is not working he enjoys spending time with his family. Recently he worked with local charities helping Rockport families affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Welcome Steven Hutson, REALTOR®

Born into a military family in Killeen Texas, Steven Hutson had the privilege of moving and experiencing all different types of cultures and people from all over the world. After his father retired, the family settled in a small East Texas town called Longview. Here he finished out his high school education and later was accepted into the private engineering university of LeTourneau University.

After completing his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, he began his career in the Dallas market. Steven worked in the engineering field for over 14 years on projects ranging from golf course pumping stations (TPC Golf Course being one) to designing and building state of the art electric over hydraulic components for a multi-million dollar drilling rig.

Steven then went on to achieve his Masters in Business and stepped out as his own business owner. He bought into the Bush’s Chicken restaurant chain here in the San Antonio market. That business expanded to 8 stores in San Antonio and one location in Dallas. After 7 years in the business, February of 2017, Steven and his family decided to change course and sell the chicken business, which led him to real estate. “This was always an aspect of building stores that I loved to be a part of and wanted to somehow continue it,” says Steven.

Steven goes on to tell us, ” I obtained my license this year and after looking into several brokers I decided to interview with Coldwell Banker and have loved every minute since! The winning factors are the integrity, honesty, and Christian values that others seemed to lack.”

Steven is married to his wife of nearly 20 years, Amanda. They have two kids, Aubrie and Connor that attend San Antonio Christian School and a Jack Russell Terrier named Raskel. Aubrie plans to follow in her mother’s footsteps in being a teacher and majoring in special education. She is a powerhouse on her school’s swim team this year and has a passion for reading. Connor loves basketball and plays on the school team and also plays on summer league teams during offseason.

Beckie Whittier & Julie Gezella Honored at FRAR Award Banquet

Tuesday, December 5th — the Four Rivers Association of REALTORS® (FRAR) held the 2018 Installation of Officers and Directors & 2017 Awards Banquet with proceeds benefiting the Comal Habitat for Humanity. In attendance were notable figures in the local real estate industry including, Scott Caballero, TAR’s Public Policy Chairman for 2017, RVP for Region 13, and a past SABOR Chairman, Candy Cargill, Region 7 RVP, Debbie Vallone-Homeier, TREPAC Trustee for Region 7, Justin Landon, Vice President of Government Affairs San Antonio Board of REALTORS® and Casey Lee, TAR Central Texas Field Representative.

Members of FRAR had the opportunity to nominate members from each of the five counties. Outgoing 2017 President, Monica Malorgio McNabb, presented the following awards to Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTORS® Beckie Whittier and Julie Gezella.

Ana Paula, Your Hill Country Village REALTOR®

December 2017Ana Paula Eddy and her family were featured in this month’s issue of ‘Life in Hill Country Village’.This community is a secluded oasis in the middle of city conveniences. Ana Paula, Jay, Jessica, Gaby, and John Paul Eddy have lived in Hill Country Village for 15 years with their 4 ‘furry family members’; Leo the Lion, Cooper, Finn, Biscuit (pictured in the below ad photo).

Ana is originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and attended Universidad de Guadalajara. Her passions include photography, gardening, traveling, and remodeling. Ana Paula Aldaco Eddy is the daughter of notable architect the late Marco Aldaco. In the world of architecture, his name is synonymous with coastal architectural design. He is one of Mexico’s most revered architects according to Robb Report* and also a member of Architectural Digest’s ‘AD 100 Club‘ for lifetime achievement. As such, Ana Paula has inherited a highly creative and discerning eye. During her travels, she often takes many photos and gathers inspiration.

To say Ana Paula has a giving heart would be an enormous understatement. She is passionate about devoting her time to others including local organizations like the San Antonio Food Bank, Boys Scouts, St. Mark’s and St. Pius. Earlier this year an earthquake shook the isthmus in Oaxaca, Mexico close to the area where Ana Paula and her husband are building a home. They spent several weeks assisting with disaster relief both in Oaxaca and Mexico City.

The leather purses in the photo are original designs sewn by the handicapped of Santa Maria Huatulco, Oaxaca. The loom and thread designed purses are gorgeous pieces that raised hundreds of dollars for those in need.
