Unstoppable Agent Training

Julie Conner and Ed Zapata put together an “Unstoppable Agent Training” to “pump-up” the Northwest Office of Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTORS®. Their 1st quarter 2016 kick off meeting set goals to provide as much training as possible so they are prepared to hit the ground running when the 2nd and 3rd quarter pack their proverbial punch.

A Conversation with Eliza Sonneland

Our next testimonial for the series is with Eliza Sonneland who has been with CBHarper for about a year and a half. Eliza said one reason she chose CBHarper was because of the 4 week training program. She said, “The more I was taking classes (to get my REALTOR® license), the more I was realizing when I’m done with this and I’ve taken all my tests, I won’t even be ready to be a real estate agent.”

Last year, Eliza had a great year starting her Real Estate career in Boerne. Her hard work paid off because she worked the phones, met people who walked into the office, ran commercials and delivered neighborhood flyers. Also, she said she was ready to listen to what people wanted and helping fulfill their goals, whether it was buying or selling.

What is Dotloop?

We are excited to announce our newest partnership with dotloop. What exactly is dotloop? Dotloop is a program that links people, documents and tasks to help you work better, together. So what does this mean for your clients? This means saving ink and trees, in other words, less paperwork to fill out and faster turnaround. To learn more about sharing documents, check out the infograph below:

So how exactly does Dotloop work? Below is an example of how REALTOR® Alex helps get that dream home for his client Betty:

  • Alex’s client Betty wants to buy a home, so he creates a loop and invites Betty.
  • To start, Alex puts together a simple to do list for Betty inside dotloop, detailing the steps she needs to take to purchase a home.
  • First up – Betty needs to determine how much she can afford. So Alex, the ever-resourceful agent, introduces Betty to Mark, a trusted mortgage broker.
  • Betty uploads her required mortgage information to the loop for Mark; Mark adds the pre-approval letter to the loop for Betty and Alex.
  • After a few weeks of looking at homes with Alex, Betty falls in love with a two-story gem and is ready to make an offer.
  • Alex writes up the offer in dotloop and shares it with Betty for review and signature.
  • Signed, sealed and shared with Alex, Betty enters her offer with dotloop, where she also keeps a copy for herself.
  • Alex shares the offer with Lisa, the listing agent. Even though Lisa is on the other side of the deal, she can join the same loop to view the documents.
  • Lisa reviews the offer then invites her seller clients, Sam and Sarah, to the loop to review it. No one else can see who Lisa invited.
  • Sam and Sarah decide on a counter offer. Lisa opens the original offer in dotloop, makes the necessary changes and then shares the document to Sam and Sarah to sign.
  • Because of dotloop’s strict permissions controls, Alex won’t see the changes Lisa made until she shares the document back.
  • Once everything is ready to go, Lisa shares the document back with Alex, who quickly shares it with Betty.
  • Betty accepts the counter offer and is ready to get started in her new home!
