UTSA Fandom and a Technology Director

According to Wikipedia, a fan, or fanatic, sometime also called aficionado or supporter, is a person who is enthusiastically devoted to something or somebody, such as a band, a sports team, a genre, a book, a movie or an entertainer. Collectively, the fans of a particular object, or in this case sports team, constitute its fanbase or fandom.

Danny Ocean in our opinion, is San Antonio’s biggest UTSA fan,
no not that Danny Ocean, this guy:

geek-coolThat’s right. Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTORS® has been home to a lesser known but equally talented Danny Ocean since 2004. Aside from being a technology guru, he’s a movie buff (no surprise there) and true sports fan. When you’re computer is broken and the other guy says, “It’s working fine on my end.”
He is the person you call.

On Saturday December 17th UTSA, University of Texas at San Antonio, played against the New Mexico Lobos, in what they’re dubbing ‘The New Mexico Bowl’. The final score ended in a 23-20 loss for the Roadrunners, certainly a disappointing end to a solid season under Frank Wilson’s first year. Still, UTSA won a combined seven games over the previous two seasons, so going 6-7 demonstrates a path in the right direction.

Being Mr. Ocean’s alma mater, it was all good. UTSA Football made history when it was announced they’d play in The 2016 Gildan New Mexico Bowl. Now in its 11th year, the New Mexico Bowl  has traditionally been the first bowl game of the season. So what does a super fan do?

He attends the game of course.

It was all captured live and when the camera starts filming near your seats, what else do you do? Show you’re spirit.

So cheers Danny-O, consider us fans too!
